Course Description:
As the first semester of a two-semester sequence, this course studies regional and systemic anatomy and physiology of the human body. Course begins with an overview of general biology concepts including, simple chemistry, cell structure, biochemistry metabolism and molecular genetics. Emphasis is placed on histology and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular and nervous symptoms.
